Larks and Owls are the Charlotte House before and after school clubs. They provide a safe, flexible, and inexpensive way for parents and carers to manage their busy schedules while giving the girls a popular and fun way to start and end their school day.
The clubs operate every day during the school term and bookings are made through the school office on an ad-hoc, daily, weekly or termly basis.
Larks pre-school care and breakfast club is open to all girls from 7.35am. It provides a warm, safe and welcoming start to the day, with an optional healthy breakfast of toast and cereals available until 8.00am. Girls can enjoy some supervised play until the start of the school day.
Owls after-school club is available from 3.30pm until 6pm. There are a range of activities on offer and the older girls are able to complete their homework in a quiet area. During the summer months, girls can enjoy supervised play in the garden. A light teatime snack is provided. If parents need to contact owls after 5.00pm, please ring 01923 712638.
If you have daughters whose school day finish at different times, they are eligible for our free Sisters’ Club. This allows complimentary access to the Owls after-school club from 3.30pm until 4pm. Bookings are made through the school office.
Charlotte House School can only accept Childcare Vouchers or Tax-free Childcare payments for childcare and not education. In terms of private education this only applies to children under 5 (end of first term following their 5th birthday). For older children, Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay for activities or clubs that take place on the school premises outside of school hours i.e. Larks or Owls.’
