Nursery

Our girls and their families know when they join us they belong to a friendly community where every individual is valued.  The delight on the girls’ faces when they realise that everyone knows their name and people have time to stop and ask them about their day is really very special. Our Nursery is always a hive of activity and when you visit you will be amazed at how confident the girls are.  They will be keen to tell you all about their day and want to show you their classroom; you may never be allowed to leave!

3 + Entry

Children are invited to take part in an assessment session about two terms before they wish to start in the Nursery at Charlotte House. Your daughter will take part in a play-based assessment session, looking at social skills, speaking and listening and readiness to learn in a school setting. Typically sessions are run in small groups.  If your daughter’s current setting has a notice period that means you need an earlier assessment session do let us know so we can arrange an earlier assessment. We aim to take 20 children into our Nursery class.
