Charlotte House School can only accept Childcare Vouchers or Tax-free Childcare payments for childcare and not education. In terms of private education this only applies to children under 5 (end of first term following their 5th birthday). For older children, Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay for activities or clubs that take place on the school premises outside of school hours i.e. Larks or Owls.
Please find below details of two insurance policies: Pupils Personal Accident insurance is included automatically in the school fees but the School Fees Return insurance is an opt-in policy. If you are interested in the School Fees Return policy, please write to the Bursar.
Charlotte House School is a registered charity. The school relies on the fees from parents to meet the whole of its operating costs as it does not have the benefit of an endowment fund or any other form of income.
The School offers a limited number of means-tested bursaries awarded according to need, up to a maximum of 75% for girls entering the school at age 7+. It is not likely that a bursary would be awarded to a family where relevant annual income exceeds £45,000. In the case of a divorce or separation, both parents will be required to complete financial statements. Bursaries are financed by the school.
Parents who are interested in applying for bursaries need to request a Bursary Application Form.
Once a bursary award has been made, it will be subject to an annual review.
We offer a sibling discount for girls with an older sister already at Charlotte House. The discount applies to the tuition fee only and may be varied by the school at any time. The current discount is 3% for a second child and 5% for a third. Free childcare (Sisters’ Club) is offered for younger girls whose normal school day finishes earlier than their older sibling.
