This morning we welcomed Tara Birch into school to run some Skylark sessions with Forms IV, V & VI. Tara has become a ‘Top Voice’ on LinkedIn and runs her own culture change consultancy firm. She joined us today to speak to the girls about how important kindness is and how one makes a choice on social media whether to send positivity or negativity out into the world. During lockdown, whilst on furlough, Tara started creating quick napkin doodles with positive messages. She posted them on LinkedIn to cheer up her work colleagues and before long she had over 20,000 LinkedIn followers and it has led to a new career! The girls loved creating their own napkin notes with positive messages and have also taken away a kindness bingo game to do this week! Thank you Tara for giving us all such a boost on a wet Monday morning and a reminder that we have to be kind to ourselves as well as to others!
