We started the day with a special assembly all about World Book Day. We thought about why books are so valuable, played a fun game of ‘Guess the Book’ and then had a boogie to a special song. A big shout out to Form VI for the funkiest moves today!
We have been amazed by the creativity that has gone in to the props that each girl has brought in. It is clear that everyone thought carefully about their book and chosen character, as their props reflected this. Well done!
Throughout the day, each form has had fun celebrating World Book Day in different ways. We hope to continue the momentum with our reading challenge. Hopefully, today and the reading challenge will inspire each of the girls to read a little more, read something that they ordinarily would not have, and most importantly… instil a love of reading!
